IT IS IN YOUR MOMENTS OF DECISION YOUR DESTINY IS SHAPED

idly hands are the devils plaything (3)

How many times have you told yourself that you will make the right decision, next time?

How many times have you come to a fork in the road knowing you should choose one option over the other, but choosing the bad option anyways.

Convincing yourself that next time, you will make the right choice.

Next time, you wont binge drink.

Next time, you will choose the salad over the burger.

Next time, you wont be so quick to anger.

Tomorrow, you will eat healthy.

Tomorrow, you will go to the gym.

Tomorrow, you will call your mom.

The funny thing about next time, is that it is always now.

And if you aren’t making conscious decisions in the now, then you will always postpone them to some time in the future.

In the future you convince yourself you will be better, stronger, more able to make the right choice.

But the thing about that, is we can only ever choose now.

We are always in the present moment.

We postpone doing the right thing, so we can do the easier thing now.

“Don’t give up what you want most, for what you want now.”

The future keeps coming, one decision at a time.

Each time you let the right decision pass you by,  your destiny is being formed.

What destiny are you creating?

One of procrastination or one of empowerment?

Indecision is a decision.

You are actively choosing the life of procrastination.

Of some romantic vision where you will be a different person and make better choices.

But it is in the now that you create the future.

We only ever have the present moment to make the right choices.

Don’t create a destiny of “someday.”

Have the balls to decide now, not when its easy, or when you think you can do it.

Nobody who makes changes is really ready to start.  They just took the first step.  They just started making the right choices.

You’re never going to be fully ready.

The next decision is surely going to come……

Just jump.
