LET YOUR SOUL BE YOUR GUIDE

I am so serious about this I even have it tattooed on my foot 🙂

If I have learnt anything in my 27 years on this planet, it has been this.

YOUR SOUL ALREADY KNOWS WHATS BEST FOR YOU, WE CHOOSE TO IGNORE THE SIGNS.

Feeling and emotions can be uncomfortable, there is no doubt about that.

We have a plethora of ways to avoid sitting alone with our emotions for even 5 minutes. Food, addictions, social media, TV, smart phones, drama to name a few.  We very rarely just shut everything off and sit with ourselves.

Some people hate being alone so much, they try to constantly be around people and out doing things.

By “keeping busy” all the time, they are blocking out their most important guidance system, their intuition.

It is only by slowing down and really thinking and feeling and contemplating ourselves, our choices and our lives, do we hear those nuggets of wisdom.

I am a high energy person.  My mind races constantly, and I have to make an effort to quite it down and to relax.  That’s where I get most of my inspiration and creativity.  Its where I hear what my heart really wants to put out into the world.  Its where I can see myself objectively, and where I can make improvements.

If I go to many days without doing this, I feel like a chicken with my head cut off.  I am not centered or in control of my thoughts and emotions.

If I am not centered I cant make choices and decisions from a place of self trust.

We are all different,  we all have our own inner guidance system and path to follow.   It is when we get off this path, we find ourselves stressed out, anxious and depressed.

My favorite ways to tap into this higher self is through meditation, deep breathing, yoga and detox baths.

We can get so wrapped up in thinking that we forget our thoughts aren’t even facts.  We have billions of thoughts and emotions a day, and by not slowing down, we grab onto all of them and run with them, leaving us emotionally drained and non receptive.

Its essential to slow down and really observe yourself.

In meditation, you can see things from a bigger perspective.

You can become a less reactive person.

It is when we are stressed out, or acting off our thoughts and emotions we end up doing or saying things we regret.

Tap into your higher self, slow down, take some deep breaths and have the courage to do what your soul tells you to do.

It will be an insight, a song, a run in, shivers, deja vu, synchronicity or just a still silent knowing deep inside.

Don’t fight your intuition with logic.

Your soul is connected to the source, and the source wants to guide you.

Let your soul be your guide.
